Manual Lathe Machinist in Northwest Houston

Set-up and operate manually controlled machines in skilled precision and bench work in the fabrication, maintenance, repair and alteration of machinery, machine parts, tools and equipment

Must be able to:

Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner

Read and interpret blue prints

Use gage and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements

Use precision tools, machinery and equipment such as a lathe, vertical milling machine, drill press, hydraulic press, chop saw, band saw, push and pull broaches and a variety of cutting tools and equipment.

Perform regular cleaning and light maintenance

Effectively communicate

Attendance and punctuality is a MUST

Hours are Monday – Thursday 6 am to 4:30 pm with a 30 min lunch and Fridays are 6 am to 2:30 pm

Pay rate is DOE $15.00-22.00
