Marketing Analytics Manager Opening, San Antonio, TX

What You Will Do:

  • The Marketing Analytics Manager provides analysis and recommendations to support marketing campaigns, product sales performance and product development via relevant dashboards.

  • Outlines and implements measurement framework to support a comprehensive, multichannel marketing plan.

  • Identifies, develops and enhances data collection needs, analysis processes and quantitative models.

  • Manages marketing optimization programs such as developing a measurement framework, test plan and audience segmentation.

  • Provides data used by the various stakeholders to project portfolio growth and key performance trends, and recommends process reengineering to maximize department efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Ensures accuracy and eliminates gaps in the data collection/reporting methods.

  • Manages and leads a team of analysts, oversees the team’s workload and ensures the team has the information and knowledge needed to support the analytical data needs of the credit union.

  • Completes any other job related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization’s Values.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience developing, implementing and determining business impact through various approaches to analysis and use of tools.

  • Knowledge of industry-specific measurement methods, such as customer lifetime value, propensity-to-buy and propensity-to-churn.

  • Knowledge of testing methodologies, including A/B and multivariate.

  • Incorporating offline and online data into marketing campaign analysis (e.g. Adobe Analytics).

  • Able to apply advanced analytics and data science to marketing through knowledge of data exploration, data experimentation, and machine learning-based predictive modeling.

  • Able to utilize business process, data management and information systems skills to create, design and implement tools that improve workforce effectiveness and management decision making.

  • Project management organization.

  • In-depth understanding of the financial services industry.

What We Require:

  • Bachelor degree in marketing, finance, mathematics, statistics, or other quantitative discipline or equivalent education and/or experience.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in marketing analytics.

  • Minimum of three (3) years managing a team.

  • Minimum of three (3) years in digital marketing analytics.

  • Knowledge in using marketing and digital products to support marketing/sales efforts.

  • Experience with common spreadsheet applications (e.g., Excel), including pivot tables and charting.

  • Ability to edit databases and perform queries (e.g. Access, SQL, Python), and working with data warehouses and other relational and hierarchical database storage environments (e.g. Adobe Data Workbench).

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Data mining and data modeling experience.

  • Enhances the perception and use of analytics.

  • Nurtures/upskills analytical talent of the team.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Maintain and handle matters of confidentiality with utmost tact and diplomacy.

  • Able to manage several projects simultaneously.

  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and to meet deadlines.

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, to communicate complex findings in simple terms.

  • Communicates cross-functionally and builds relationship with functions outside of marketing such as Enterprise Technologies.
