Material Handler

This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. However, this position will require consistent work outside these hours due to the nature of the responsibilities.

Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.

Pay $13/hour

Essential Responsibilities:

Responsible for assisting in the functions of production. Move material from storage or production areas, loading docks, or delivery vehicles, by hand or using fork trucks or other equipment. Attach identifying tags to material or mark them with identifying information. Receive oral instruction to determine work assignments or material needs. Responsible for making sure all orders are pulled and staged in assigned areas. Assist in maintenance of inventory, both finished and raw, and organization of all warehouse areas

Essential Duties: • Follow all safety protocol including PPE. • Must be able to lift 40lbs. • Load, unload and move materials from within shipping and receiving, plant, yard, storage areas or work sites to designated areas, using hand truck, forklift or other devices. • Maintain organization of Finished Goods and Raw Materials. • Check all material for damages and/or shortages and report to management. • Maintain building and yard areas organized by projects. • Assist with special projects and assignments per request of the department lead. • Responsible for house cleaning and maintenance in shipping/receiving and inventory areas.

Physical Demands:

Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing ladders, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
