Our client located 45-N at 610 is looking for candidates that want to succeed in the skill trades industry. They are will to train the right individual that demonstrates a hard work ethics. Company has been in business for over 60-years and they are small family environment and workers have 20+ years tenured.

Off Load Steel – Material Receiving (1) Candidates Pay $13/hr. Temp to Hire

Shift: Monday-Saturday – Day Shift

Job Responsibilities:

• The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of routine warehouse, shop, and yard duties including but not limited to, load / unload materials for shipment, maintain shipping supplies inventory, movement and distribution of goods and materials.

• Must be flexible and work other jobs around the facilities to help team members when your time is slow.

• Must be a self-starter that wants to learn other skilled trades.

• Must have legible handwriting/penmanship

• Primary duty would be that of training to unload trucks and perform the initial written inspections on the material as it arrives to determine if each piece is in compliance with the purchased order issued.    

• Most of the inspections would occur outside using a forklift due to the size of the plates order for jobs.   

• Some of the smaller items can be done inside the shop, however it would still be and un-air conditioned environment.    

• Will be cross trained for the receiving department to work in the shipping department as well, so once comfortable with the receiving/inspection aspect, then the cross training in shipping would begin 

• Company is willing to train candidates in skilled trades for career minded individuals

• Company had “no” layoffs during the recessions as they are over 60-years old with a very large client base

• Must have a purpose in your walk and carrier yourself with pride

• Plenty of overtime depending on business needs

• Hours: 6:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
