Inspect products at various stages of production process and comply and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products. Ensure activities are conducted in accordance with policies and correct and report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); and minimum of 5 years work experience in a machine shop/electronics manufacturing/assembly environment as a mechanical inspector.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Knowledge of GD&T Preferred
Physical Demands
Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to work with inspection equipment; reach overhead with hands and arms; and stoop, bend; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities include close vision, and color vision; good eyesight, by lenses if necessary
Vision testing is required.
Work Environment
Employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.
Noise level in the environment is usually moderate to loud.
Extended work hours may occasionally be required
