Job Description:

Saw Operator is responsible for loading multiple steel bars into a “nest” on the saw feed table, then cutting the bars to length. Must be familiar with automated band saw or metal working machinery and have the ability to work successfully in a fast-paced production environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

•Manually load bars onto the saw cutting feed table and secure by strapping and welding.

•Accurately read a tape measure to measurements to confirm bars cut to proper length.

•Maintain safety and housekeeping standards.

Requirements/Qualifications:

•Good communication skills.

•Basic math skills, must be able to convert fractions to decimals.

•Ability to stand and lift continuously during shift.

•Prior experience with automated metal working machinery.
