Level I WelderDays/Hours: Will be 1st shift, Mon-Thurs., 6 am-2:30. OT is possible.Summary/Responsibilities:
- At least 2 years of FCAW & GMAW welding experience (no exceptions)
- Must be able to do layout and fit up with minimal supervision
- Must be able to read blueprints (including weld symbols)
- Frequently pushes pulls and lifts up to 50 pounds
- Reads and interprets work orders and daily production schedules
- Uses measuring tape, level, square, and angle finder to measure distances and angles
- Uses an oxy-fuel cutting torch and plasma-arc torch for cutting steel.
- Must have experience working in a manufacturing or production-type environment
- Ability to calibrate/set welding machines
Qualifications:
- Requires 2 yrs. experience in Flux Core Welding
- Previous or current qualifications in FCAW
- Must be able to perform multiple processes
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- Must pass background check & drug test•
- Supervisory Experience Required No
Applicants will perform weld tests as part of the interviewing process
