Duties and Responsibilities:

implementing Project Initiatives related to installation, and support of network communications, including LAN/WAN systems

Assist in design, configuration, administration and support of network connectivity within the Microsoft Azure cloud services platform

Advanced configuration and administration of Cisco Networking hardware; route, switch Wi-Fi, security, DNA Spaces, etc.

Assist in configuration & administration of firewall security and VPN connections Configuration and administration of SD WAN environment

Advanced QOS configuration and implementation MPLS WAN configuration & administration

Ensures the appropriate creation and maintenance of function’s technical and training documentation, to include network diagrams

Works on complex problems where analysis of situation requires in-depth evaluation of various factors, including both technical and business impact

Experience Required & Qualifications:

Expert knowledge of LAN/WAN systems, networks, and applications; expert knowledge of Network Topologies, (IDS) Intrusion Detection Systems, (IPS) Intrusion Protection Systems; expert knowledge of Cisco products; strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud migration strategies with focus on IaaS/PaaS connectivity

Experience in implementing core enterprise network technologies including dual stack (IPv4 and IPv6) architecture, virtualization, infrastructure, network assurance, security and automation.

Experience in implementation and troubleshooting of advanced routing technologies and services including Layer 3, VPN services, infrastructure security, infrastructure services, and infrastructure automation

Experience with Cisco’s SD-WAN solution including SD-WAN architecture, controller deployment, edge router deployment, policies, security, quality or service, multicast and management and operations.

Working knowledge of wireless network design including site surveys, wired and wireless infrastructure, mobility and WLAN high availability.

Experience working with wireless network implementation including FlexConnect, QoS, Multicast, advanced location services, security for client connectivity, monitoring and device hardening.

Working knowledge of implementing Enterprise automated solutions, including programming concepts, Python programming, APIs, controllers and automation tools.

Working knowledge of Palo Alto Firewall Security and NetMotion a plus

Must secure and maintain a favorable background investigation and clearance

Must have available transportation during entire workday; Must have valid driver’s license, motor vehicle liability insurance and personal injury insurance
