Order Puller

Objective: This position is to pull orders in a timely manner throughout the day that have been scheduled for delivery by our drivers.   

Expectations:

• When given a picking list, it is expected that the order be pulled at that time, unless asked to delay the pulling by management.

• Check all picking lists are correct and to verify what route they will be delivered on.

• Stage the completed pick in the correct locations based on the current day’s layout. 

• Keep the warehouse organized with the correct size materials, color coded, and stored appropriately. 

• Perform stock checks and returns for the office if asked to do so.

• During down time, check with your direct supervisor to see if there is anything that needs to be done.

• Empty recycle and trash bins as needed around the yard and warehouse. Focus will be in the picking areas and outside locations.  

• Help pull 40’ material if needed for will call customers and outbound deliveries.

• Help load our outbound trucks so they can be checked off in a timely manner if no orders are assigned.

• Perform any other tasks or jobs asked of you by management.
