VIP Staffing- South Dallas is seeking experience candidates for a structural steel company located in Cedar Hill is looking for experienced Overhead Crane operators for long-term temp-to-hire positions. You will operate a remote overhead crane, hoisting steel beams and sheets of metal to the appropriate areas. You must be sure to observe workplace safety rules and guidelines. You must have prior experience in a steel or metal environment.

Overhead Crane Shift:

• 1st- Pays $17.00 & 2nd- Pays $18.00

Overhead Crane 

• Incentives (Production, attendance, overtime) when hired on

Overhead Crane Operator Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate an overhead crane
• Observe all workplace safety rules and regulations
• Move steel beams to appropriate areas
• Organize materials
• Build Orders
• Work and communicate with supervisors to ensure smooth operations
• Inspect equipment and fill out service requests as necessary

Overhead Crane Operator Requirements and Qualifications

• Prior experience with overhead crane equipment
• Physical ability to stand, crouch, and lift objects throughout your shift
• Strong communication skills
• Forklift experience or a forklift operator license (preferred)
