Job Description

Responsible for operating packer and then train on palletizer.

• The packer consists of loading empty bags into the bag magazine and keep the packer running.

• Learn how to make product and bag changes on the packer.

• Learn how to check weights and make adjustment if need be.

• Must have basic computer skills to enter production for inventory reasons.

• Must be able to pick up 50 lbs.

Palletizer Operator:

• Must have an understanding of how phot eyes and proximity switches work.

• Must have basic math skills.

• Will be trained on the sit-down forklift and be able to perform a physical test and written test.

• Learn how to read the production schedule and do metal detector checks and documentation.

Forklift at Dock:

• Must have basic computer skills

• Must be able to perform a trailer inspection and operate dock equipment.

• Must keep warehouse clean.

Work Environment:

• Non-Climate Controlled, Dusty Environment

Requirements:

• 6 months minimum experience on sit down forklift preferred

• HSD./GED Diploma

• Must be able and willing to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen

All of these job functions will also be responsible for cleaning in the Pack Room, Warehouse and Palletizer Room.
