1st Shift Pay is based on experience*checking all dimensions, punch locations, and hole diameters using calipers, height gages, etc. Promptly reporting any discrepancies to the lead man or supervisor .* Shearing jobs, verifying conditions, thicknesses, and grain direction per shear list specifications*Pulls and sets progressive and transfer dies per the tool sheet or shop traveler / router*Load coil  material and sets proper feed, speed, lubrication , air blow, sensors and ejectors  .*Tagging non-conforming material with all information requested for proper analysis and disposition. Moving the non- conforming parts to the inspection hold area.*Checks finished parts for unacceptable burrs, replacing tools if required to achieve the desired quality .*Ensures all machine parameters are set according to the type and thickness of material to be processed .*review routing to determine the next work station for the parts and moving them to the right station when done operation is complete .operates forklift while moving material in a safe manner.*must be able to lift up to 35 lbs*Must be able to stand for long periods of time
