We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Printing Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient operation of printing machinery, make necessary adjustments, install parts and supplies, test materials, and maintain high-quality production standards. If you have a keen eye for detail, technical aptitude, and experience in operating printing equipment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing Job Orders: Make appropriate machine adjustments based on job orders.
- Installing Parts and Supplies: Install ink rollers, screens, printing plates, and stencils per job specifications.
- Testing Inks and Paints: Test and adjust inks and paints for suitability.
- Handling Production: Oversee the printing and racking process to meet specifications and schedules.
- Performing Maintenance Tasks: Conduct regular maintenance to ensure smooth machine operation.
- Troubleshooting Equipment Issues: Identify and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Cleaning the Printing Press: Maintain a clean printing press and peripheral equipment.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Printing Machine Operator or similar role.
- Understanding of printing processes and machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret job orders and blueprints.
- Technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy components.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
