Key Responsibilities:
- Job Order Review: Analyze job specifications and adjust machinery to meet production requirements.
- Equipment Setup: Install and align ink rollers, screens, printing plates, and stencils as required.
- Material Testing: Evaluate inks and materials for quality, compatibility, and performance, making adjustments as needed.
- Process Monitoring: Supervise the printing process to ensure specifications and deadlines are met.
- Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance to keep machines in optimal working condition.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
- Workspace Cleanliness: Ensure the printing press and surrounding areas are clean and well-maintained.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Printing Machine Operator or in a similar role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of printing processes and equipment operation.
- Ability to read and interpret job orders, technical diagrams, and blueprints.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Keen attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality results.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and repair tasks.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy machinery and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
