Job description

The Production Coordinator will be responsible for planning, scheduling, implementing and monitoring production activities

•

They will assist the production manager with tasking

•

They will determine the work schedule based on work orders and the availability of raw material

•

Generate, coordinate and schedule work orders for manufactured components

•

Communicate with sales, purchasing and engineering departments to prioritize work order scheduling

•

Review new orders to determine all raw materials are on hand when needed

•

Monitor and record progress of orders and adjust schedules as necessary

•

Willingness to learn and master our current MRP system

•

Maintain accurate and up-to-date MRP data in so far as inventory and work order progression

•

Assist the production manager to maintain a smooth and organized manufacturing process
