WORK SCHEDULE

SUNDAY – 6AM-4PM

MONDAY – 6AM-4PM

TUESDAY – 2PM – 11PM

WEDNESDAY – 2PM-11PM

THURSDAY – 2PM-11PM

THIS STAFF MEMBER PLAYS A KEY ROLE IN THE WAREHOUSING OF COMPANY AND CUSTOMER-OWNED INVENTORY. MANAGES/DIRECTS THE INTEGRATION/COORDINATION OF RELATIVELY HOMOGENOUS ACTIVITIES THROUGH SUBORDINATE STAFF, EVALUATES UNIT OBJECTIVES AND MAKES RECOMMENDATIONS ON CORRECTIVE ACTIONS AND SALARY ADJUSTMENTS.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT MAY NOT BE LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• SET/ADJUST PRIORITIES FOR SUBORDINATE STAFF AND MAKE DECISIONS/RECOMMENDATIONS ON WAYS TO ADDRESS UNFAMILIAR SITUATIONS BASED ON SOPS, POLICIES, ESTABLISHED PRACTICES/PROCEDURES, AND/OR PRIOR TRAINING.

• MANAGE, DIRECT AND INSTRUCT LEADS AND ASSOCIATES TO MAINTAIN THE FLOW OF WORK. HOLD STAFF ACCOUNTABLE FOR INVENTORY MOVEMENT IN AND OUT OF THE WAREHOUSE, AND ENSURE STAFF IS TRAINED IN THE PROPER USE OF SHOP FLOOR.

• MAKE STAFFING RECOMMENDATIONS TO SENIOR MANAGEMENT TO ENSURE DEPARTMENT PRODUCTIVITY, INCLUDING SETTING SCHEDULES, ORDERING TEMP LABOR, AND PARTICIPATING IN HIRING AND FIRING DECISIONS AND ACTIONS.

• SET-UP/MAINTAIN WORKING WAREHOUSE, TO INCLUDE BIN LOCATIONS, BARCODE SYSTEMS, ETC.

• SUSTAIN THE GUIDELINES & POLICIES FOR SHIPPING / RECEIVING TEAM, MANAGE THE APPOINTMENT SCHEDULE.

• COORDINATE WITH INVENTORY MANAGER ON MONTHLY, QUARTERLY, AND ANNUAL INVENTORY, TO INCLUDE CYCLE COUNTS, RESEARCHING/RECONCILING VARIANCES AND NECESSARY ADJUSTMENTS.

• ENSURE SUBORDINATES MEET JOB PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS, TO INCLUDE COMPLETING ANNUAL REVIEWS, PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT PLANS AND CORRECTIVE ACTION.

• RESPOND TO PRODUCTION ISSUES AND ENSURE QUICK RESPONSE.

• SUPPORT LEAN MANUFACTURING PRINCIPLES AND APPLY THEM TO THE WORKFLOW, INCLUDING CREATING FLOW, MAINTAINING QUALITY AND IMPLEMENTING MISTAKE-PROOFING.

• IMPLEMENT AND MAINTAIN EFFECTIVE SAFETY AND 6S WORK ENVIRONMENTS.

• PROVIDE ON-THE-JOB TRAINING TO NEW EMPLOYEES.

• DEVELOP AND DELIVERY YEARLY PERFORMANCE REVIEWS OF STAFF.

• OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED BY MANAGEMENT.

• REGULAR ATTENDANCE IS AN ESSENTIAL FUNCTION OF THIS POSITION.

• COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE COMPANY POLICIES CONCERNING MAINTAINING A DRUG FREE WORKPLACE IS REQUIRED.

• COMPLIANCE WITH ALL COMPANY POLICIES IS REQUIRED INCLUDING ALL SAFETY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• MUST HAVE A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED EQUIVALENT. BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN BUSINESS, INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING OR RELATED FIELD PREFERRED.

• FIVE YEARS’ RELATED EXPERIENCE WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE.

• MUST HAVE GOOD VERBAL, WRITTEN AND INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS.

• MUST HAVE INTERMEDIATE PC SKILLS IN MICROSOFT EXCEL, MICROSOFT WORD, AND OUTLOOK. MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN AN ERP SOFTWARE SYSTEM.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• DIRECTLY SUPERVISES 5-10 EMPLOYEES. CARRIES OUT SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE

• ORGANIZATION’S POLICIES AND APPLICABLE LAWS. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE INTERVIEWING, HIRING, AND

• TRAINING EMPLOYEES; PLANNING, ASSIGNING, AND DIRECTING WORK; APPRAISING PERFORMANCE; REWARDING AND

• DISCIPLINING EMPLOYEES; ADDRESSING COMPLAINTS AND RESOLVING PROBLEMS.

THE WORK ENVIRONMENT CHARACTERISTICS DESCRIBED HERE ARE REPRESENTATIVE OF THOSE AN ASSOCIATE ENCOUNTERS WHILE PERFORMING THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THIS JOB IN A MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT. CONTINUOUS, HIGH TO MODERATE LEVELS OF NOISE REQUIRE HEARING PROTECTION TO BE WORN AT ALL TIMES. TO ENSURE THE ASSOCIATE’S SAFETY, WHEN WORKING IN THE MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT, SAFETY GLASSES AND ANY OTHER APPLICABLE SAFETY EQUIPMENT ARE REQUIRED. EXPOSURE TO CHEMICALS, INKS, AND COATINGS REQUIRES THE APPROPRIATE PPE TO BE WORN WHEN HANDLING.
