We are now hiring for a Machine Operator position for a manufacturing company in San Marcos, TX. This position is starting ASAP! Please submit your resume to this posting and call our office at 830-629-2525.
Pay: $17/hr + $1 differential for 2nd shift
Schedule:
2nd shift: Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm (Will be training on 1st shift for the 1st few weeks 6:00am-2:30pm)
MUST be able to pass background + drug screening. MUST be reliable.
Description:
The Machine Operator provides set up and operate wrapping machines for production.
Duties:
- Set up and operate machinery to manufacture complex products and customized bundles
- Perform routine maintenance and maintain proper adjustment of machinery.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and notify Inventory Control of low levels or defective materials.
- Regularly review and remain current on Operating Procedures, Quality Procedures and
- Maintain a clean and safe working area using LEAN Manufacturing principals
- Work in a Team environment
Knowledge and Experience:
- Ability to read and write English
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Supervisory or management experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of 5S and lean manufacturing processes
