VIP Staffing is looking for an experienced Commercial Glass Estimator to join their team.

Job duties include:

• Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.

• Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.

• Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.

• Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.

• Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

• Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data.

• Correspond with General Contractors via meeting, email, phone

• Meet with suppliers for bidding, pricing and scheduling deadlines

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience in Commercial/New Construction Estimator (Glass/Glazing Experience Required)

• Software experience: Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

• High level of customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize work assignments.
