ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate and supports clients through method development activities leading up to GMP manufacture.

  • Ensure QC qualification/validation activities take place in line with S&OP business milestones, provide timely identification and escalation of at-risk milestones using business tools and drive remediation or mitigation.

  • Ensure Management of Change process is utilized and adhered to in all phases of development, validation and ultimately, release to production.

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.

  • Coordinate with other department from Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Logistics, Planning and others for the flawless execution of projects and product validations.

  • Keep updated with production of new products from project planning to its production.

  • Ensure that the new products are safe and maintains its high quality for the customers.

  • Ensure specifications are in line with method and process capabilities.

  • Troubleshoot, investigate, root cause analysis into qualification failures and method issues.

  • Make project cost estimates including the resources, capital and other requirements to make the project successful.

  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders

  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors to improve the new products

  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

  • Represent the team where necessary at internal, customer and regulatory audits.

DATA MANAGEMENT:

  • Manage SAP Master Data for materials including Material Master views, BOM and Recipes.

  • Validate and assist operations to build new materials

  • Manage / coordinate change control processes as needed.

  • Responsible for maintaining artwork status for new and existing materials.

  • Assists in the costing and feasibility analysis of projects to determine production viability

  • Developing formula, specifications & label declarations. Ensure finished product specifications.

  • Interface with QC to ensure samples meet customer specifications.

  • CLNX (continuous improvement) and Innovation (new product introduction) project tracking. 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.

  • 3+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment desired

  • Must have excellent overall computer skills

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Ability to work varied work hours

  • Must be a self starter and able to make fast and accurate decisions

  • Must be results oriented with ability to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously

  • Ability to travel as needed.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • BS Degree in Chemistry.

  • Must have excellent overall computer skills, SAP experience is preferred but not required

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate

  • Lean/Six Sigma

  • Fluent in English, additional language proficiency
