Position Summary:

Project Team Field Services Specialist will assist in taking our customer-focused services to new heights. The Field Service Specialist will be responsible for providing first level deployment services to all users which requires familiarity with the supported applications, technical expertise in the areas of hardware and software. Functional knowledge of Windows Based programs, MS Office Suite, VPN / Remote Access, printers, networking technology, and internet web browsers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, independent worker with experience in handling a high volume, multi-task workload and able to successfully drive closure and resolution.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, time management, conflict resolution, and problem determination/resolution skills are a must.
  • Capable of supporting a wide range of hardware and internal/external software through various organizations within the company.
  • Follow established and documented policies and standard operating procedures such as scripts and templates.
  • Utilize standard technology such as telephone, e-mail, and web browsers to perform job duties.
  • Ability to interact with team members and management at all levels.
  • Familiar with Service Desk support methodology.
  • Familiar with Project management and deployment strategies.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced & demanding environment.
  • Interacts with customers in support of both routine and reactionary service-based issues.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality customer service.
  • Ability to work afterhours to meet customer requirements and participate in weekend deployments when necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Possesses advanced level troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Advanced knowledge on workstation imaging processes.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs may be occasionally required.

Education and Experience:

  • AA/AS Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field/equivalent experience preferred
  • Relevant technical certifications preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in IT customer support; knowledge of computer systems administration
  • Working knowledge of cloud-based technologies such as Office 365, VMWare, Hyper V, Azure, AWS are a plus
  • Proficient with all windows based operating systems. Active Directory, printers, end user-based products
