Works on development projects of varying magnitude and help to ensure the testing and implementation are both timely and are satisfactory to management and users. Assists in the use of standard test methodology, executes test scripts, tests cases and ad hoc testing; assists in project defect tracking and reporting and performs testing admin tasks. Uses standard methodologies to support the delivery of quality products that meet client specifications with minimum defects, on-time, and on-budget. Adheres to quality assurance milestones outlined for projects and executes the identified activities and processes to ensure compliance. Participates on teams in requirements gathering, designs reviews and creation of detailed testing scripts and test cases. Assists with coordination and execution of multi-phase testing including integration, system, performance and user acceptance testing, performing on-going regression testing across multiple applications and systems. Maintains testing database by executing or performing defect tracking and regression testing to meet testing requirements. Assists in or report test outcomes by collecting, analyzing, interpreting, summarizing, and displaying data. Develops and coordinates the Test Plan/Strategy for assigned testing efforts. Documents issues and tracks status in designated systems and tools to track outcomes. Organizes and assigns testing assignments to the test team and ensures that deadlines are met.
