Quality Assurance Manager (Food Production) Dallas 75247

Food manufacturing company Located in Dallas is seeking for a highly motivated Quality Assurance Manager to join our team! Must be okay with working in a food production environment (non-climate controlled).

Salary:

• $60k-90k

Shift:

• Must be flexible to work both 1^st and  2^nd shift

• 1st 6am-3pm

• 2^nd 2:45-12am

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday (some Saturdays)

Responsibilities:

• Perform record and document review

• Be an ambassador for the GMP and Safety policies

• Support and document prerequisite programs

• Resolve Quality Control issues, tracking quality trends, recommending, and implementing plans to improve quality and production efficiency

• Support finished goods adhere to quality specifications

• Inspect materials for quality deviations

• Clean and organize Quality Assurance lab

• Inventory and replenish lab equipment and supplies

• Complete, file and organize records

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent

• Basic math skills

• Experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred

• Management experience (2 years minimum)

• HACCP certification or desire to obtain within one year

• Literacy in English

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
