Job Title: Quality Control Inspector
Job Summary:
Perform real-time inspections of finished goods and intermediates to ensure they meet quality standards. Use calibrated tools to conduct checks, execute quality transactions in SAP, and manage non-conformance reports. Ensure proper documentation and support investigations for process deviations.
Perform real-time inspections of finished goods and intermediates to ensure they meet quality standards. Use calibrated tools to conduct checks, execute quality transactions in SAP, and manage non-conformance reports. Ensure proper documentation and support investigations for process deviations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect finished goods and intermediates using calibrated tools (e.g., gauges, scales).
- Perform quality transactions in SAP, including batch releases and managing material statuses.
- Report non-conformances and process deviations.
- Collect and sample bulk materials per ANSI standards using Thermatron testers.
- Prepare Certificates of Analysis and Compliance for finished goods.
- Track inventory, manage recalls, and maintain daily reports and batch files.
- Assist with repackaging and labeling of goods.
- Maintain and organize the non-conforming materials area.
- Develop inspection plans and support customer complaint investigations.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of measuring tools.
- Update GMS documents (SOPs, work instructions) and provide quality training to operators.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Strong math and computer skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
