Immediately hiring a Quality Inspector for a large company in San Antonio. Pay is up to $18/hr. depending on experience. Shift is Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm. Location is on the northwest side of SA.Job Summary:
- Inspect finished products for defects.
- Take measurements of products to determine if meets requirements.
- Measuring within an 1/8" inside or out.
- Compare quantity and part number of items received with procurement data.
- Conduct visual, dimensional, and mechanical inspection of devices.
- Inspect products in clean room.
- Utilize various inspection tools such as rulers, calipers, microscopes, gauges, and pull tester.
- Communicate any issues or defects to Quality manager and purchasing staff.
- Receive incoming material.
- Some warehouse duties as needed.
- Must be able to read a ruler and measuring tape.
- Measuring test will be conducted .
- Must have at least 2-3 years in a QA role.
