What You Will Do:

Conceptualizes, researches, writes, edits, and proofs materials; develops marketing content strategies and advertising tactics to support and promote credit union products, services, and initiatives; serves as a credit union representative.

Conceptualizes, researches, writes, edits, and proofs for a broad range of marketing materials, including, but not limited to, print, email, POS, collateral, social, digital, outdoor, radio, and direct mail.

Creates targeted, sales-focused content through strong product knowledge.

Works closely with Creative Manager and Assistant Vice President of Marketing, as well as lines of business as needed, and utilizes web-based project management tool to conceptualize strategy, goals, key messages, and gain pertinent background of a project or campaign prior to writing.

Ensures the Marketing team’s efforts are consistent with the credit union’s brand voice, key messages, and department editorial style.

Acts as a writing and editing resource to Marketing staff to ensure highest quality and accuracy of materials produced.

Reviews content proposed by other lines of business to ensure accuracy, spelling, grammar, and compliance prior to publishing.

Develops, writes, and edits internal communications, including Marketing Updates.

Acts as department lead for social media matters, providing strategy and direction on managing credit union’s social media presence on multiple platforms.

Leads content development and editing for high-profile projects, such as the Annual Report.

Completes any other job related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization’s Values.
What We Require:
-
Bachelor degree in Advertising, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Advertising, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or equivalent, with copywriting and design concept experience.

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in digital, online, and email communication.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications.

Able to write compelling copy that adheres to brand voice and usage guidelines.

Excellent verbal and written communication and proofing skills. Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.

Possess working knowledge of content management systems and social media management.
-
Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines with tight timelines.
