Job Description: 
 
As a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of sensors and intranet solutions. You'll contribute to projects in the fields of condition-based monitoring, situational awareness, signal intelligence, artificial intelligence (AI), safety, and embedded systems. 
 
Requirements: 
 
– Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, aeronautical engineering, or an equivalent field. 
– Qualification experience with airborne systems. 
– Strong documentation skills. 
– Design experience involving A/D, D/A converters, and microcontrollers. 
– Strong understanding of electronic systems and systems integration. 
 
Experience Desired: 
 
– Design of small electronic systems. 
– Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO, Ethernet, and WiFi. 
– Mixed-signal product design and development for military aircraft, ground vehicles, and support equipment. 
– FPGA experience in both VHDL and schematic design flows. 
– Successful design of products meeting environmental, FCC, and CE compliance standards. 
– Experience in designing for military environments, commercial aircraft, military aircraft, ground vehicles, or support equipment. 
 
Performance Expectations: 
 
– Lead and guide a team of junior engineers, PCB layout specialists, and lab technicians on select projects. 
– Drive projects from concept to manufacturing. 
– Take a hands-on approach to design, testing, and validation of prototypes. 
– Implement Configuration Management processes. 
– Ensure Quality Control and Quality Assurance in all phases of product development. 
– Collaborate with component suppliers. 
– Assist in proposal creation, scheduling, and cost estimation using PC tools. 
– Proficiency in CAD design for circuits, modules, and processors. 
– Familiarity with FPGA technology. 
– Occasional travel throughout the USA, with rare international travel (about once or twice a year on average). 
 
Background Check:

– E-Verify participation for employment eligibility verification in the United States.
