VIP Staffing has an opportunity for a DIRECT HIRE for a Senior Engineer in the Leander area.

REQUIRED

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred

We are seeking candidates that have managed a small test department and has strong trouble shooting skills.

REQUIRED 3-5 years’ experience in New Product Introduction or Project Management preferred

EXPERIENCE
• Will have a thorough knowledge of all manufacturing methods, techniques, and related equipment
• Must be familiar with product construction and application
• Expert knowledge electrical engineering practices and principles
• Expert knowledge of electrical assembly
• Experience in testing processes, equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscope, and fatigue analysis equipment and test techniques related to electrical systems
• Extensive knowledge of Ohm’s law
• Self-motivated, requiring minimal supervision
• Ability to read, understand and correctly follow prints, drawings, and technical instructions
• Well versed in structured development and improvement techniques for high quality, high consistency build, test, and order fulfillment processes
• Conceptual thinker with excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate ideas across the various functions within the business

This position has a base salary and has a bonus structure quarterly
