JOB TITLE: Sr. System Engineer

Summary:

Responsible for supporting Information Technology Project Initiatives;, ensuring successful delivery of IT services as defined in the duties and responsibilities. This position will represent our organization in a professional and effective manner and establish and maintain effective working relationships

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Knowledge transfer of implemented solutions to operational staff

2. Assist with the upgrade of Solarwinds network/systems monitoring application

3. Work with security team to address any server/application security related issues

4. Work with security team and application owners to assist in the planning and configuration of a new patch/upgrade schedule

5. Azure resource planning, cost analysis and work with the security team to address any outstanding security/configuration issues

6. Assist with the planning, testing, documentation and configuration of a DR/BCP solution

7. Provide assistance in working with systems/network teams to plan, document and deploy changes that will help reduce single points of failure and provide datacenter site diversity

Requirements:

8-10 years of Windows Server Administration

· Active Directory

· GPO Administration

· DNS

· Power Shell Scripting

· WSUS and Patch Management

8-10 years of VM Ware ESX Administration

3-5 years of Microsoft Azure Cloud Administration

Preferred Requirements:

Certifications:

· Relevant Microsoft Server/Azure Certifications

· VM Ware Certifications

Experience with:

· Dell EMC Avamar and Data Domain

· Dell Isilon and HP Nimble Storage Arrays

· Cisco UCS Administration

· F5 Load Balancers

· Solar Winds
