VIP Staffing is seeking a commercial sheet metal mechanic and helper.

• Minimum 1-4+ years commercial exp. with sheet metal.

• Must have your own tools and transportation.

• Fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs sheet metal duct, parts, equipment, and products, utilizing knowledge of working characteristics of metallic and nonmetallic materials, using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment

• Works alongside the Sheet Metal Mechanic and follows their direction and assist with installations according to blueprints.

• Trims, files, grinds, deburrs, buffs, and smooths surfaces, using hand tools and portable power tools

• Installs assemblies in supportive framework according to mechanics direction, using hand tools, power tools, and lifting and handling devices

• Inspects assemblies and installation for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments, such as calipers, scales, dial indicators, gauges, and micrometers

• Has tools like snips, seamers, screwdrivers to install and run duct work

• Proven working knowledge and experience Ability to read and interpreter blueprints accurately

Must be able to work sitting standing kneeling stooping bending and or lay for extended periods of time.

Must pass all background and drug screening requirements.
