Job description

VIP Staffing is looking for Shipping Clerk/ Material Handler and Crate Builder for their Shipping department in our Cedar Hill location. This position will require experience with hand tools and heavy lifting to build crates for product being shipped out.

Crate Builder Shift:

• Monday-Friday
• 8am-5pm
• 2pm-10pm

Crate Builder Pay Rate:

• $18-$20

Crate Builder Responsibilities:

• Building crates for material being shipped out
• Using hand tools, nail guns, pneumatic staplers, etc.
• Pulling and staging materials for production
• Opens boxes and inspects contents of shipments.
• Stage loading and unloading areas with appropriate equipment

Crate Builder Skills:

• Familiar with hand tools and basic cutting
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills.
• Possesses physical strength necessary to lift and move boxes
• Possesses basic math skills.
• Demonstrates awareness of safety procedures.
