What You Will Do:
Plans, coordinates, and supports activities related to the design, development, documentation, implementation, and recovery strategy of highly available enterprise information services and software applications with the infrastructure and cloud services ecosystem. Build, design, coordinate, plan and participate in the implementation of on premise, hybrid, private cloud and ‘as a service’ technologies and initiatives. Collaborates with software engineers, database administrators, infrastructure teams, third party vendors and lines of business to architect and implement technology solutions. Solutions include customized applications, third-party solutions, and integrated solutions. Manages the on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines. Deploys and debugs cloud initiatives throughout the development lifecycle. Builds and design public and hybrid cloud-based, optimized reference applications, show-case event driven, elastically-scalable, fault-tolerance and on a variety of cloud architecture patterns. Builds, implements, and oversees various cloud-based technology services such as IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and XaaS (infrastructure, Platform, Software, “anything” as a service); in addition to cloud tenants in Azure, AWS, Office 365, and other related platforms. Maintain and update the necessary project plans and documentation of all system builds and modifications. Documents the design, operation and troubleshooting of technology platforms and procedures. Completes any other job related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization’s Values.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Azure/O365/AWS/Google Solutions Administrator Certification. Cloud Based certification(s). Experience with APIs, orchestration, automation, DevOps and modern database systems (ie NoSQL). Experience working in the financial services industry and remain current on the latest trends associated with financial services a plus. Project management experience. Experience being a team lead. Experience with vendor management.
What We Require:
Bachelor degree in Management Information Systems equivalent education and/or experience. Minimum of six (6) years of experience in an information services/systems environment. Minimum of two (2) years of extensive distributed & cloud computing system administration and management environment. Experience working with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Office 365, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, OpenStack, Linux/UNIX, Rackspace, and/or container technology. Services design, operating system enterprise administration, performance management, use of systems management tools, capacity planning, disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Knowledge of IT Infrastructure, including Security, Virtualization, Storage and Cloud technologies. Thorough technical understanding of distributed, hybrid, and cloud computing platform technologies such as identity, authentication, authorization, microservices, web services, system monitoring, automation, and extensive experience in setting enterprise standards and policy. Strong awareness of networking and internet protocols, including but not limited to TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP and distributed networks. Experience in hybrid on-premises to cloud, private, and multi-cloud implementations. Excellent project organization, communication and analytical skills. Complete multiple tasks independently and in a team environment when necessary. Good interpersonal, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. Able to read and understand complex technical documents and periodicals. Provide seven day a week, twenty-four hour a day support. Availability for periodic travel to work-site locations.
