Job Title: Systems Maintenance Technician
Overview:
The Systems Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, startup, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of company-supplied equipment across various products. This role may also involve project planning, scheduling, coordinating, cost control, and team supervision, depending on the project or contract. The Technician will document all activities and develop proficiency in basic system technologies.
The Systems Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, startup, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of company-supplied equipment across various products. This role may also involve project planning, scheduling, coordinating, cost control, and team supervision, depending on the project or contract. The Technician will document all activities and develop proficiency in basic system technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex equipment trials, investigative tests, repairs, and overhauls.
- Utilize software tools and demonstrate strong technical aptitude.
- Analyze and interpret complex data, including bug reports and production metrics.
- Perform specialized technical tasks within a specific domain.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to systems and processes.
Expected Hours of Work:
- Typically Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, or as assigned by the supervisor based on customer needs.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to work in various positions (bending, standing, lying down) to access machine components.
- Must move between locations, maintain positions for extended periods, and communicate effectively.
- Ability to lift or move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent hands-on skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Associate degree in a STEM-related field.
