Key Responsibilities:
- Tax Planning Expertise: Leverage your 7+ years of tax planning experience from a large accounting firm to provide valuable insights in corporate, trust, partnership, and individual tax preparation and planning.
- Accounting Software Mastery: Serve as the Accounting Supervisor and Software Administrator, overseeing benefit plans and HR administration. Utilize your proficiency in accounting software to streamline processes and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and collaborate with a dedicated team handling A/P, A/R, and GL accounting for multiple entities. Foster a positive and productive work environment that promotes professional growth.
- Financial Oversight: Review ledgers and financial statements for all entities, promptly identifying and implementing necessary corrections. Distribute information to management for informed decision-making.
- Tax Compliance: Work closely with the tax manager to oversee and contribute to the preparation of tax returns. Conduct thorough reviews of each other's work to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Systems Administration: Serve as the network and program administrator for accounting systems, ensuring seamless functionality and troubleshooting as needed.
- Oil and Gas Knowledge: While not mandatory, a background in Oil and Gas is considered a plus, adding an extra layer of expertise to your role.
