Technical Specialist – Remote (Austin, TX)
Innovative and growing company is looking for a Technical Specialist. You will collaborate closely with sales, support, and R&D teams to ensure our product offerings accurately address customer requirements and are accepted by key customer technical decision-makers. Technical Specialists troubleshoot technical problems, find ways to increase productivity, and learn about new integration options.
Responsibilities
- Answer to RFI/RFQ/RFP together with the key Account Sales Director
- Contribute to the support portal by writing technical articles, guides, and integrations with different solutions and vendors
- Act as a role model for the delivery and support teams by demonstrating leadership as a technical consulting authority and providing the highest standards of quality in solution delivery
- Coordinates closely with internal sales, support, and service resources to align solution design with customers’ business requirements
- Gather and assess customer needs to identify pain points, both business and technical, and present them to the product teams
- Build relationships with Product, Engineering, and other parts of the Sales organization to increase technical and business expertise and provide customer-centric feedback
- Support both internal sales teams and customers in their earlier adoption stages of the solution deployment
- Being able to work in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and be flexible in working with teams in different time zones
Qualifications
- Strong Linux/Windows knowledge and Active Directory, Exchange, and O365 experience
- Thorough understanding and deep dive into virtualization VMware and Hyper-V
- Good overall knowledge of both MSFT Azure and AWS cloud environments
- Strong knowledge of IP networking architecture, protocols, and security is highly desirable
- Basic understanding of Kubernetes, Docker container, and microservices architecture concept
- Experience in working with API-oriented products
- Service Oriented, have a can-do attitude, excellent communication skills, and a creative mind to solve problems.
- Strong and demonstrated written and oral communications skills with the ability to present complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences
