Technical Writer Opening, San Antonio, TX

What You Will Do:

  • Computer knowledge and navigation a must. Microsoft software.

  • Strong ability to write and develop procedures

  • Time management, organizational skills, task management and attention to details is essential.

  • Minimal supervision and self- motivated

  • Background in procedure/ technical writing desired. 

  • Knowledge with E-Oscar and or credit disputes a HUGE plus

  • Work from home, come to office as needed

What We Will Require:

  • 3> years minimum experience in the industry

  • Background in procedure & technical writing

  • Expert in writing, editing, proofreading, grammar, spelling and punctuation.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, or Business-related field or comparable education or comparable experience.

  • Minimum three (3) years in release management experience or a software development, technical integration or business operations environment.

  • Minimum of one (1) year in a Project Analyst, Project Coordinator, or equivalent project administrative role.

  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services business and the capabilities/features and functions of the systems and applications available to support them.

  • Must be analytical and detail oriented.

  • Strong process management and improvement skills.

  • Outstanding teamwork, inter-personal, facilitation, organizational, listening and communication skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Knowledge of distributed and mainframe infrastructure, technology and concepts with ability to quickly grasp new technologies, applications and concepts.

  • Basic understanding of structured application development methodology and principals, understanding of structured environments using distinct development, test, and production environments.

  • Able to work in a team environment, meet deadlines and take on responsibility and accountability.

  • Working knowledge of business process methodologies and experience in process management activities.

  • Able to mentor/coach team members in understanding the established change management practices, guidelines, and procedures.
