Position Overview:We are looking for a seasoned Warehouse Associate with strong leadership qualities to step into a Production Lead role. If you have experience in the steel industry and a solid work history, we want to hear from you. No prior leadership experience is required; we will provide the necessary training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate shipping and receiving activities
- Conduct accurate inventory counts and manage inventory control
- Perform picking, packing, and assembly tasks
- Assist in production processes to meet daily targets
- Operate forklifts (sit-down) safely and efficiently
- Learn to operate cranes (training will be provided)
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a steel manufacturing warehouse environment
- Strong work history demonstrating reliability and dedication
- Leadership potential with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Experience with forklifts; crane operation is a plus but not required
- able to lift 75lbs
- Must have experience with tools and machine operation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
