Our Pasadena area client has an immediate opening for a Janitorial worker in their warehouse

Accountability Responsible for maintaining sanitation levels in and around company facilities as set by company standards and procedures.

Responsibilities Building Maintenance:

Clean warehouse with hand brooms, dust mops with oil based floor absorbent, power scrubbers, sweepers to meet company standards. Remove refuse from warehouse and offices building daily, ensuring that trash cans are empty and clean. Clean break room, restrooms, and work areas. Repair damaged pallets. Relocate, move and adjust office furniture as necessary. Remove & apply labels or placards on drums. Ensure that pest control systems are operating effectively. Perform minor

repairs and routine painting.

Grounds Maintenance:

Keep grounds free of litter and debris.

Safety:

Report any safety problems to the warehouse manager. Comply with OSHA and other appropriate standards. Contact Facility Manager of any chemical spill.

Qualifications A. Education: High School Diploma

B. Experience: Minimum 1 yr. of direct experience in a similar position

C. Knowledge/Skills:

Requires the ability to follow instructions and operate power scrubbers and sweepers. Be able to lift 50 pounds. Capable of standing and walking for extended periods. Be able to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basis. Be able to use both hands and feet simultaneously and for repetitive movements.

D. Special Requirements:

Must have responsible work habits and pass any pre-employment tests, drug test and background check.

Pay: $11/hr

Shift: 8am – 5pm M-F
