Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Job Summary:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. This role includes managing inventory, coordinating shipments, ensuring efficient storage of goods, supervising warehouse staff, and maintaining health and safety standards. The Warehouse Manager ensures that all warehouse activities are carried out efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations Management:
- Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Ensure efficient and safe utilization of warehouse space.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
- Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage systems.
- Coordinate and oversee the daily activities and workloads of warehouse staff.

Inventory Management:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock for customer orders.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory turnover.

Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff.
- Set performance goals and conduct performance evaluations.
- Ensure staff are trained in health and safety, security, and company policies.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.

Health and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
- Provide training and resources to ensure a safe working environment.

Logistics Coordination:
- Coordinate and manage incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Work closely with logistics providers and suppliers.
- Optimize transportation and distribution processes to minimize costs and improve efficiency.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers.

Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance, including KPIs.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement action plans based on analysis and feedback.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of warehousing, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment-minimum 3 years experience
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
Working Conditions:
- Warehouse environment with potential exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Monday-Friday 8am-5pm but should be flexible working hours, including possible weekends and holidays, depending on operational needs.
Compensation:
- 85k-100k
- Benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, etc.
