Pay: up to $27 DOE

Schedule: Monday-Friday 10 hour 7:00am-5:00pm shifts & possible 8 hour shifts on Saturday 7:00am-3:00pm. 

Structural Steel Test:

-3G Vertical weld test coupon.

-Two carbon steel plates 6” x 12” x 1/2”.

-FCAW – Dual shield, flux core process.

-Welder will bevel plate.

-Open root beveled groove weld.

-Root to be ground out and stringer pass made after front side completed .

-Stringer bead root and caps no weaving.

“`Duties:“`- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of structural components- Measure and mark materials for welding using various tools and equipment- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment- Monitor the welding process to ensure quality and adherence to specifications- Inspect welds for defects and perform necessary repairs or adjustments- Clean and maintain welding equipment and work area

“`Requirements:“`- Proven experience as a structural welder- Proficient in various welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding- Familiarity with different types of metals and alloys used in structural welding- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications- Strong attention to detail and precision in work- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks- Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity
