Immediately hiring a Welder Boilermaker for San Antonio. Will be servicing and repairing boilers and chillers. This role requires a deep understanding of welding, metalworking, and mechanical systems, combined with the ability to work safely and effectively in various work environments.
Pay is $25-$28/hr. based on experience.
Morning shift starting at 7am
Duties:
- 6G stick welding
- Install and maintain boilers/chillers
- Repair and service boilers/chillers
- Ability to troubleshoot, detect, and fix issues
- Re-tube boilers
- Read and interpret prints/schematics and drawings
- Maintain machinery
- Will use a cutting torch
- Fitting and threading pipe
- Operate forklift as needed
- Fabrication, installation, and repair of metal structures and equipment, primarily in boiler and pressure vessel systems
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair damaged or worn-out boiler and pressure vessel components, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to fabricate components, ensuring accurate measurements and fit-up
- Assemble and install boiler systems, pressure vessels, and other industrial equipment, ensuring they meet specified requirements and operational standards
Requirements:
- Must pass a 6G weld test on 6" pipe
- Must be willing to become certified if not already
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose boilers and chillers
- Seeking at least 4 years of stick welding experience
- Need to have previous 6G welding experience
- Ability to follow instructions and read blueprints
- Must be able to work in various environments and extreme temperatures
