IT Manager (Direct Hire) – On Site in San Antonio, TX
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor IT professionals while actively engaging in technical tasks.
- Hands-on involvement in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems.
- Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with company objectives, actively contributing to their implementation.
- Ensure data security measures are enforced and compliance with regulations is maintained.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, actively participating in their implementation.
- Manage IT budgets and resources efficiently, while being directly involved in procurement decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address IT needs and provide technical guidance.
- Evaluate risks, develop network recovery and backup processes.
- Ensure IT activities comply with applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
Experience & Required Skills
- 5+ Years in IT Operations
- 2+ Years of supervisory experience in an IT department
- Proficiency with database, database storage systems and phone systems (essential)
- Strong project management skills with a track record of prioritizing tasks, managing risks, controlling costs, and meeting deadlines.
- Experience with Microsoft Server 2019/2022, Azure, Microsoft 365, SQL Server, datacenter infrastructure, networking (Fortinet switches, access points and firewalls), VMware, and virtual environments,
Education & Certification
- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (10+ years or more)
