Accounts Payable

Job Description: Works as an integral part of our client’s finance team to ensure client addresses all federal, state, and other financial accounting and reporting requirements.

Job Duties:

  • Track outgoing payments

  • Monitor company expenditures (including payroll)

  • Maintain records

  • Verify expense reports

  • Maintain petty cash

  • Review vendor and service provider agreements

  • Negotiate with vendors and service providers to secure discounts

  • Track and pay sales and use tax

  • Pay vendors and service providers

  • Reconcile statements and payment records

  • Ensure payment credits are applied correctly

  • Correspond with vendors regarding billing and payments

  • Performs reconciliations of statements

  • Prepare reports

  • Works as an integrated team of the finance department

  • Conducts allocations and other grant-related functions as requested by the CFO

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in financial accounting or related field

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal

  • Ability to thrive in a fast past environment

  • Must be able to multi task

  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Must be able to maintain professionalism.

  • Must be dependable and reliable in meeting deadlines

  • Must be able to maintain spreadsheets

Experience:

  • Relevant: 5 years (Preferred)

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree

Schedule: Monday to Friday- May be asked to participate in evening and/or weekend events/activities
