1st Shift Pay is based on experience*Checking all dimensions, punch locations, and hole diameters using calipers, height gages, etc. Promptly reporting any discrepancies to the lead man or supervisor.* Shearing jobs, verifying conditions, thicknesses, and grain direction per shear list specifications*Pulls and sets progressive and transfer dies per the tool sheet or shop traveler / router*Load coil material and sets proper feed, speed, lubrication, air blow, sensors and ejectors*Tagging non-conforming material with all information requested for proper analysis and disposition. Moving the non- conforming parts to the inspection hold area.*Checks finished parts for unacceptable burrs, replacing tools if required to achieve the desired quality.*Ensures all machine parameters are set according to the type and thickness of material to be processed.*Review routing to determine the next workstation for the parts and moving them to the right station when done operation is complete.operates forklift while moving material in a safe manner.*Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.*Must be able to stand for long periods of time
