What You Will Do:

Performs work of considerable difficulty, analyzing, implementing and maintaining major databases in both Production and non-Production environments. Responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of assigned projects in database and support systems including access methods, device allocations, organization, security, documentation, guidelines and standards. Analyzes application system specifications in order to produce logical and physical database structures of considerable difficulty. Monitors, reviews and recommends methods of improving the performance of database software products. Researches, corrects, designs, and develops database support procedures of considerable difficulty. Develops and recommends database standards and enforces standards and procedures for use. Completes any other job related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization’s Values.

What We Require:

Bachelor degree in Management Information Systems, or equivalent education and/or experience.

Minimum of three (3) years of SQL database experience. Strong understanding of theory, principles, and practices of database systems specifications standards, applications programming, and database design and utilization techniques. Strong knowledge of functions and capabilities of database systems along with thorough knowledge of RDBMS overall. Strong knowledge of functions and capabilities of database management system performance monitoring methods. Provide seven day a week, twenty-four hour a day on call support. Availability for periodic travel to work-site locations.
