Immediately hiring a Human Resources Assistant for a professional service firm on the Northwest side of San Antonio.
- Mon-Fri 8a-5pm
- Pay $20 and up DOE.
Minimum requirements:
- 2+ years of human resources experience
- SharePoint experience
- Proficient with Microsoft office suite or related software
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong organizational skills with a great attention to detail
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruiting process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
- Maintain and update job descriptions and job postings in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Conduct reference checks and assist with candidate background checks.
- Coordinate new hire orientation and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
- Create new hire announcements.
- Set up new hires profiles in the HR Information System (HRIS)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of employee and human resource files and records.
- Perform periodic audits of HR files and records to assist in ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Provide clerical support to the HR department.
- Assist with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
