VIP Staffing is looking for experienced sewers in the Universal City area!
Weekly pay!
Job Summary:
Review job order for necessary information to sew. Sew materials. Inspect parts against the shop job orders. Determine if part passes or fails in inspection. This position has the authority to stop production to correct quality problems.
Duties and Essential Job Functions:
- prepare part to sew- 10%
- sew part- 70%
- check part for defective material and production- 10%
- defective, call supervisor to determine scrap or rework-5%
- move to next department- 5%
- sewer needs to be self-motivated to sew the products efficiently with minimal supervision
- sew has to be honest in every detail of sewing the products
- sewer has to be flexible in trying new techniques to gain proficiency and accuracy.
