Scope of Position:

Working under the direction of the Materials Manager, uses the Electronic Resource Planning module for inventory control processes. Develops and / or maintains accurate inventory levels, works to ensure bin location accuracy, structures actions to continually reduce inventories in the support of the business and customer expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prioritize customer on-time shipments and departmental requests. Maintains databases within the materials section to ensure proficient operation of the ERP System.

Conducts and reports daily cycle count processes.

Investigates and resolves all inventory discrepancies by identifying the root cause of the issue.

Maintains strict record of all inventory transactions.

Oversees the warehouse organization and cleanliness.

Assures that all work order shortages are monitored and expedited through receiving and taken to the production floor.

Participate in identification of slow moving or obsolete materials.

Identifies process gaps and improvements of inventory processes.

Ensures that product is received and stocked within 1 business day.

Participates in all cross-training opportunities.

Assists and coordinates material handling activities.

Conforms to all Quality and Environmental Management System policies, objectives, and obligations.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Team player while maintaining a customer focus.

Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Systems.

Proficiency in understanding of an ERP System.

Outstanding organizational skills along with oral and written abilities.

2+ years sit down forklift experience.

2 year degree of equivalent on the job experience.

3+ years in a manufacturing / warehouse environment.

Pay is $16.00-$18.00 hourly depending on experience.
