JOB SUMMARY:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Mechanically inclined
- Follow directions and training guidelines to effectively perform the required work.
- Retain information (e.g. product function, assembly methods of multiple products, time cards, etc.)
- Ability to assemble various products using hand coordination and hand tools.
- Meet assembly time standards set for lock
- Set up own work station and maintain part identification
- Carefully read job orders and ask for help when unclear
- Perform Quality checks on own work to ensure 100% error free.
- Take pride in work
- Keep area clean and cleanup after one self
- Consolidate boxes and pallets once a week
- Possess a positive attitude and maintain self-discipline
- Work independently and as a team player
- Be consistent and effective
- Be respectful and civil to all personnel
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
- Blueprint reading
- Troubleshooting of mechanical assembly
- Soldering experience
- Ability to train others
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:
- Daily attendance of up to ten hours is required to accomplish work schedule
- Prolonged standing, sitting and bending is necessary
- Good eye sight for intense detailed work
- Simple machinery work is required
- Ability to work under pressure and accept changes
- Ability to lift sixty pounds
