Our South Houston area client is seeking a Mechanic to work in their Machine Shop.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements(Oil Changes, change bearings and seals, etc.) on Lathes, Mills, CNC, and Welding Machines, as well as Forklifts and Overhead Cranes. Troubleshooting malfunctions. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation. Removes defective parts by dismantling devices.
Qualifications:
Strong Mechanical Aptitude
Experience working with various hand tools
Ability to troubleshoot and repair shop equipment
