ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Read job specifications to determine required machine adjustments

• Work on equipment stoppages, hydraulic, pneumatic, basic electrical

• Performs routine start-up/shutdown of the equipment

• Performs routine change overs on equipment.

• Maintaining inventory of assembly parts, tools, and supplies for the Maintenance Department

• QC – ensure that all products meet the company’s quality specifications

• Work with production engineers in troubleshooting issues related to equipment performance

• Assist production engineers in implementing technical corrective actions, based on customer complaints

• Follow all cGMP rules

• Follows production supervisor’s guidance related to schedule

• Monitor production machine operation to identify malfunctions

• Performs preventive maintenance (PM), adhering to the scheduled maintenance plan for all departments

• Maintain maintenance log for all equipment

• Ensure participation and cooperation in company implemented ESHA programs

• Follow all company safety rules

• Support continuous improvement initiatives such as 5s and Performance Dialogues

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs other functions as necessary or as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• 2 years of applicable trade school, college, 6 years relevant work experience, equivalent combination of education and experience

• Electrical trouble shooting experience preferred

• Preferable – Satisfactory performance as technician in other departments, 1 year as tech 1

• Mechanical skills. General knowledge of hand & power tools

• Advanced computer skills (Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite)
